Elemental Series – 2010
In this series of photographs,
three fundamental elements of the
landscape:
land; sky; and water.
The sites from which these works were
shot,
were sought out specifically for
spatial relationships and simplicity of
composition.
This allows for a nuanced shift of
perceptions
created by the addition of a falsified
reflection in each image.
The viewer is invited to consider the
landscapes portrayed
as something that has been tampered
with.
Human interaction within any ecosystem
is causal:
sometimes this is imperceptible but at
other times
the impact is dramatic.
